The Youth Fire Department (Feuerwehrjugend) together with the Disaster Relief Unit (Katastrophenhilfsdienst – KHD) is a joint volunteer organization within the Vienna County Fire Fighting Federation and is therefore in comparison to other organizations in the fields of youth work or firefighting somehow unique among them. In the year 2012 the 25th anniversary of this meanwhile well respective institution could be celebrated.
